The Most Amazing Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are the most amazing chocolate chip cookies ever! Slightly chewy, crispy edges, and loaded with chocolate chips. It definitely doesn't get better than that.


  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chip


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a separate, bowl mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream together softened butter and both sugars with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy.
  4. Beat in one egg at a time until smooth. Add vanilla extract until well incorporated, scrape the sides of the bowl as needed.
  5. Stir in flour mixture until combined. Add in chocolate chips and mix well.
  6. Chill the dough for at least 15 minutes to an hour.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, scoop dough onto the baking sheet placing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges start to barely brown. DO NOT OVERCOOK
  9. Let the cookies harden a bit on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.


If you don't have a cookie scoop or a small ice cream scoop, don't worry. With a measuring spoon scoop 2-3 tablespoons worth of dough and roll them into a ball. Chilling the dough is not entirely necessary, but doing so will result in a chewier cookie.
