CRANBERRY SAUCE RECIPE

Cranberry Sauce

This classic, easy cranberry sauce is absolutely wonderful. It can be done in under 15 minutes and it’s the perfect combination between sweet and tart.
Ingredients
- 1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup orange juice (from 2 oranges)
- 4 small peels from one orange
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries and pick through them, discarding the bad ones.
- To a large saucepan, add sugar, orange juice, water, and salt. Bring the mixture to a slight boil over medium heat. Stir to combine occasionally.
- Add cranberries, orange peels and bring to a boil; stir frequently. Cook until most of the cranberries have popped, about 10 minutes.
- Let it cool completely. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes:
1.The cranberry sauce can be made up to 4 days in advance.
