How to make easy hot chocolate bombs. This recipe is very fun to make and incredibly tasty!
Ingredients
24 oz candy melts (dark and white)
1 cups mini marshmallows
3/4 cup hot chocolate mix
OPTIONAL FILLINGS:
Salted caramel
Sprinkles
Crushed candy canes
Instructions
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Stirring every few seconds, so the chocolate doesn't burn.
Paint a thick layer of chocolate into the molds, paying close attention to the rim of the sphere. Refrigerate for about 5 minutes. Paint a second coat if necessary.
Preheat a skillet over low heat for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Take the chocolate out of the molds and fill with 1-2 tablespoons of hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, and sprinkles.
To close the spheres, quickly melt the rim of the top sphere. Attach it to the bottom sphere.
To decorate, drizzle melted chocolate on top and add sprinkles or crushed candy canes—refrigerator for 2 minutes.
Add to a mug of hot milk, and enjoy!
