If you like a denser cornbread, add 1 cup of all-purpose flour and 1 cup of cornmeal instead.
As soon as my cornbread comes out of the oven, I like to melt a bit on SALTED over the top. In my opinion, the salted butter provides a better flavor than the unsalted for this step.
